NEONAIL Unwritten Canvas Oil Paint Gel Effect

NEONAIL’s Unwritten Canvas Oil Paint Gel Effect has been developed for creating precise and intricate nail designs. Thanks to its gel-like consistency, the product does not run during application, allowing for controlled shaping. The gel can be applied and shaped as desired using a Duo Tip Nail Art Brush. For particularly detailed and intricate designs, individual elements can be cured in a UV/LED lamp as you go along. Full curing also takes place under the UV/LED lamp, with the duration depending on the thickness of the applied layer. An additional top coat is not required to achieve the desired result. To achieve a particularly smooth transition in the design, a top coat may optionally be applied and cured. Finally, the nail surface is wiped with a cleaner.

Step by step instructions:

Step 1: Shape the nails with a 100/180 grit file. Then carefully remove the cuticles with a rosewood stick by gently pushing them back.

Step 2: Then matt the nail surface with a polishing file or buffer. Remove any nail dust with a cellular tissue soaked in cleaner. If necessary, a thin layer of the primer can be used to degrease the nails.

Step 3: Apply a thin layer of the base and cure it under a UV/LED lamp according to the table. The nails are not cleaned afterwards.

Step 4: Apply a thin layer of the UV nail polish colour and cure it under the UV/LED lamp according to the table. Repeat the process with a second thin coat. The nail is not cleaned in this step either.

Step 5: For modelling with a 3D effect, apply a top coat over the UV nail polish colour and cure under the UV/LED lamp according to the table. This step can be skipped for a smoother transition of the texture. There are two types of application: If the Oil Paint Effect is applied over a cured top, no additional top coat is required over the finished design. If the Oil Paint Effect is applied to a hardened UV colour nail polish, the entire design should then be sealed with a top coat.

Step 6: Apply the Oil Paint Effect with the Duo Tip Nail Art Brush and mould into the desired shape. Thanks to its gel-like consistency, the product does not run during the design. For very intricate designs, however, it is recommended to harden individual elements in between to make application easier.

Step 7: The Oil Paint Effect is then cured in the UV/LED lamp: The thicker the layer applied, the longer the curing time.

Step 8: The Oil Paint Effect does not require an additional top coat. An additional top can be applied for a particularly smooth transition in the design. Cure this in the UV/LED lamp in accordance with the table and wait a few seconds after removing the hand before wiping the nails with a cellophane soaked in cleaner.
