Wear protective gloves to avoid staining. Apply a generous amount to washed, damp hair. Leave on for 5 - 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

For the allergy test, apply a small amount of the product to clean, dry skin, for example on the neck or elbow. Allow the allergy test to dry and leave undisturbed for 24 hours.
